The temple of finance !

An exchange is a physical or electronic place where investors meet to trade stocks, bonds, commodities, derivatives or any other financial product.
A stock exchange is used to centralize the buying and selling of certain assets in an orderly and regulated manner.

The term “market” is also used to designate an exchange.

Investors cannot trade directly with the markets. They must go through intermediaries called “brokers”.

Historically, the stock markets were physical places where purchases were made by auction,
but since dematerialization many trading rooms have closed, replaced by online trading.

Most countries have at least one stock exchange. The most important being the New York Stock Exchange (Wall Street).

It allows crypto assets to be exchanged directly from one user to another without the need for an intermediary such as a bank. It is the blockchain that acts as a public ledger by recording all transactions.

There are different platforms to buy and sell cryptocurrencies such as Coinbase, Binance, Kraken…

There are thousands of cryptocurrencies, the most famous is Bitcoin, created in 2009 by a developer (or group of developers) under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.

If you want to buy cryptos, Binance is the largest exchange platform in the world and one of the most user-friendly.
